Job summary

Ecojob is hiring an Instrument Technician for Al-Kuwait, Kuwait. The role requires a Bachelor's degree in instrumentation or electrical engineering and at least 3 years of experience in instrumentation and electrical maintenance.

You will read schematics and work on process control instruments. You will install, calibrate, troubleshoot, and maintain instruments, monitor performance, and keep accurate maintenance logs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in instrumentation, electrical engineering or related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• At least 3 years of experience in instrumentation and electrical maintenance.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics.
• Knowledge of safety procedures and practices.
• Ability to troubleshoot, repair, and calibrate instruments and components.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Willingness to work overtime when necessary.

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, troubleshoot, adjust, calibrate, repair, program and replace instruments and components used in process control systems.
• Monitor system performance to ensure accuracy and reliability of data.
• Perform preventive maintenance on all instruments and control systems as scheduled or required by customer specifications.
• Analyze system malfunctions using diagnostic tools such as multimeters, oscilloscopes etc.
• Maintain accurate records of all repairs made on instruments on shift logs/work orders/maintenance logs etc.
