Job summary

OasisConstruct UAE in Bayan, Kuwait is seeking an instrument technician to install, maintain, repair and calibrate gauges, meters, controllers and analyzers.

You will troubleshoot issues, perform preventative maintenance, document calibration activities, and collaborate with engineers while following safety protocols.

This role requires reading manuals and schematics, strong problem-solving, and the ability to handle physical work including lifting heavy objects.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years as an Instrument Technician in an industrial setting.
• Knowledge of pressure, temperature, level, flow and analytical instruments.
• Familiarity with electrical systems and circuits.
• Ability to read technical manuals, blueprints and schematics.
• Strong troubleshooting skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently as well as in a team.
• Physically fit and able to lift heavy objects as needed.

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, repair and calibrate instruments such as gauges, meters, controllers and analyzers.
• Troubleshoot and diagnose issues with instruments and equipment.
• Perform preventative maintenance to ensure proper functioning of instruments.
• Document all maintenance activities and keep accurate records of instrument calibration.
• Collaborate with other technicians and engineers to troubleshoot complex issues.
• Follow safety protocols and regulations while working on instruments.
• Keep up-to-date with industry advancements and technologies related to instrumentation.
