Overview

Instrument Technician — Location: Al-Kuwait, Kuwait. Salary: 1800 KWD. We are looking for an experienced Instrument Technician to join our team in Al-Kuwait. We are open to considering an immigrant for this role.

Responsibilities
  • The Instrument Technician will be responsible for the maintenance and repair of instrumentation and control systems in a safe and efficient manner.
  • Diagnosis, repair, installation, commissioning and preventive maintenance of process control systems, power systems and general instrumentation equipment in both field and shop environments.
  • Troubleshoot problems with electrical/electronic components of instrumentation and control systems; identify root cause analysis, recommend solutions and make repairs as necessary.
Qualifications
  • A minimum of 5 years’ experience in instrumentation or process control systems
  • Excellent understanding of electrical/electronic theory
  • Ability to read diagrams, schematics and technical drawings
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Strong problem-solving skills
  • Good communication skills – ability to communicate technical issues clearly
  • Familiarity with safety regulations related to electrical/instrumentation work
  • Valid driver’s license
  • An accredited certificate or diploma in Instrumentation Technology or a related field is preferred
