Instrument Technician in Al-Kuwait, Kuwait

Salary: 1300

We are looking for an experienced Instrument Technician to join our team in Al-Kuwait. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining and repairing mechanical, electronic and pneumatic instruments used in the oil and gas industry.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and repair mechanical, electronic and pneumatic instruments used in oil and gas operations.
• Perform preventative maintenance and rapid troubleshooting to diagnose issues.
• Read technical drawings and schematics; interpret process control systems.
• Calibrate instruments and provide technical support as needed.
• Work with a team to ensure safe operation of all instrumentation systems.
• Complete repairs efficiently and safely; document maintenance activities as required.

Qualifications

• At least 3 years\' experience working with instrumentation systems in the oil and gas sector.
• Strong understanding of instrumentation and control systems; working knowledge of process control systems.
• Experience in calibration and troubleshooting; ability to read technical drawings and schematics.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work safely at all times.
• Desirable: understanding of hydraulic systems.
• Willing to relocate from outside Kuwait and integrate into a new culture as needed.
