Job summary

PPOAR is seeking a Fitter in Al-Kuwait to perform maintenance, troubleshooting and repairs on machinery to ensure smooth operations. The role offers a competitive salary of 1600 KWD per month and welcomes foreign applicants.

The successful candidate will read blueprints, perform preventive maintenance and monitor equipment performance. Requirements include a high school diploma or engineering-related education, knowledge of mechanical or electrical principles, and familiarity with safety

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent in engineering-related field.
• Knowledge of mechanical or electrical engineering principles.
• Ability to read blueprints, schematics, drawings and diagrams.
• Familiarity with safety regulations for industrial equipment.

Responsibilities

• Install, adjust, repair and maintain machines and equipment according to manufacturer's specifications.
• Perform regular preventive maintenance on machines and identify and resolve malfunctions or issues.
• Monitor the performance of machinery to ensure it is running efficiently.
• Test the functionality of repaired equipment before returning it to service.
• Analyze data from test runs to identify problems or potential improvements.
• Develop plans for maintaining machinery including parts lists and cost estimates.
• Follow safety procedures when working with hazardous materials or dangerous equipment.
