Job description

The Human Capital Specialist will be responsible for supporting and maintaining HR operations with a primary focus on employee engagement and retention. The role requires a proactive professional who can ensure a compliant, motivated, and well-supported workforce, contributing directly to employee stability and organizational growth.

Key Responsibilities
1. Employee Engagement & Retention
  • Monitor and improve employee retention rates through proactive engagement strategies.
  • Conduct regular check-ins, feedback surveys, and stay interviews.
  • Support programs that recognize employee contributions and enhance job satisfaction.
  • Coordinate internal communication and employee appreciation initiatives.
  • Analyze turnover patterns and recommend preventive actions.
2. HR Operations & Administration
  • Maintain accurate employee files, contracts, and records per Kuwait Labor Law.
  • Ensure proper documentation for new hires, transfers, renewals, and exits.
  • Coordinate with the PRO team for visa renewals, medicals, and residency matters.
  • Prepare HR correspondence such as salary certificates, warnings, and memos.
3. Recruitment & Onboarding
  • Assist in sourcing, screening, and hiring qualified Kuwaiti and expatriate staff.
  • Manage onboarding processes to ensure smooth integration for new employees.
  • Coordinate with department heads to fulfill manpower needs.
4. Performance & Development
  • Support the implementation of performance evaluations and probation reviews.
  • Track training needs and coordinate development programs aimed at retention.
  • Maintain performance records and identify employees with growth potential.
5. Policy & Compliance
  • Ensure all company policies and HR actions comply with Kuwait Labor Law.
  • Contribute to updating HR manuals, procedures, and employee handbooks.
  • Ensure fairness and transparency in employee relations.
Qualifications & Requirements
  • Nationality: Kuwaiti (mandatory)
  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
  • 2–5 years of HR experience, preferably in the Kuwait private sector.
  • Strong understanding of the Kuwait Labor Law and HR best practices.
  • Fluent in Arabic and English (written and spoken).
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Professional attitude, confidentiality, and attention to detail.
