Job summary

Tamdeen Group in Kuwait City is seeking a Cleaning Supervisor to monitor daily cleaning of mall public areas, including staircases, loading docks, and parking areas, and to ensure adherence to the weekly, monthly, and quarterly schedules.

You will supervise outsourced housekeeping, coordinate pest control, report safety hazards, issue supplies, and liaise with security to keep access routes clear and compliant with mall rules. 5+ years of experience preferred.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in mall cleaning supervision.
• Ability to monitor daily cleaning operations and schedules.
• Experience coordinating outsourced staff and pest control.
• Strong reporting on safety hazards and compliance.
• Excellent coordination with security and maintenance teams.

Responsibilities

• Monitor daily the cleaning of mall public areas including staircases, front/back of house, loading docks, roofs, and parking areas.
• Ensure weekly, monthly, and quarterly cleaning schedules are implemented.
• Supervise and coordinate pest control.
• Ensure public areas are cleaned during emergencies.
• Submit maintenance requests and follow up.
• Inspect cleanliness and amenities.
• Monitor outsourced housekeeping staff for contractual compliance.
• Report safety hazards and unsafe practices to the cleaning manager.
• Issue supplies and equipment to the cleaning contractor.
• Recommend improvements to customer service and operations efficiency.
• Inspect mall areas to determine needs for repairs or replacement of furniture/equipment and advise the cleaning manager.
• Check fit-out units and monitor workers headcount for monthly report.
• Conduct routine common area site inspections and communicate findings to the department.
• Supervise with security to ensure loading docks operate per mall rules.
• Ensure back-service corridors, fire escapes, and staircases are clear.

1. Monitor on a daily basis the cleaning of mall public areas not limited to (staircases, front of the house, back of the house, loading docks, roofs, parking areas, waste area. etc.). Inspect for cleanliness of all areas in the mall.
2. Ensure that the weekly / monthly & quarterly cleaning schedule are being implemented.
3. Supervise and coordinate pest control.
4. Ensure that public areas are cleaned up in emergency situations.
5. Submit maintenance request to Maintenance and follow up
6. Inspect for cleanliness and proper amenities.
7. Monitor contractual obligations of outsourced housekeeping staff and report non-compliance issues
8. Report and document any observed or known safety hazards, injuries, conditions, or unsafe practices and procedures to the cleaning manager.
9. Issue supplies and equipment to cleaning contractor.
10. Recommend improvements to the customer service and ensure more efficiency in operations.
11. Inspect areas of the mall to determine needs for repairs or replacement of furniture or equipment and give recommendations to the cleaning manager.
12. Checking on fit out units, monitor the workers head count for monthly report.
13. Conduct routine common area site inspection (internal & external) and communicate all findings to the concerned Department in order to ensure the highest quality assurance standards are maintained.
14. Supervise and coordinate with security to ensure all loading docks are operated as per the Mall rules and standards.
15. Ensure all back-service corridor, fire escape route and staircase are kept clean and free from any obstacles.
