Job summary

JobLeader in Bayan, Kuwait, is seeking an experienced Head Pastry Chef to oversee the pastry department, create and execute recipes, manage inventory, train staff, and maintain high standards of quality and presentation.

You will plan new pastries, supervise production, coordinate with other departments on cross-promotional items, ensure cleanliness, monitor costs, and lead a motivated team. Open to all nationalities; preference for Indian candidates fluent in English; salary is $1000 per month.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Pastry Chef or similar role in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong knowledge of baking techniques, ingredients, equipment and safety standards.
• Excellent leadership and team motivation skills.
• Ability to manage inventory levels and maintain quality.
• Fluent in English with strong communication skills.

We are a well-established bakery and cafe in Bayan, seeking an experienced and creative Head Pastry Chef to oversee our pastry department. As a leading figure in our kitchen, you will be responsible for creating and executing new pastry recipes, managing inventory, training and supervising staff, and maintaining high standards of quality and presentation.

Responsibilities

• Plan, develop, and implement new pastry recipes that align with our menu offerings and customer preferences
• Manage inventory levels by ordering supplies, monitoring usage, and minimizing waste
• Train and supervise pastry staff on techniques, recipes, portion control, and food safety regulations
• Oversee the production of all pastries to ensure consistent quality and presentation

Requirements
