Job summary

HRInvest, Kuwait-based within the food and beverage sector, seeks a Head of Nutrition to steer nutrition strategy across all concepts. You will guide menu planning, product development, labeling, and documentation while upholding quality, safety, and regulatory standards.

This role requires a degree in Nutrition or related field with advanced certification preferred and 8+ years in a similar capacity, preferably in food service.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in a similar nutrition/food service role.
• Strong knowledge of nutritional standards and dietary guidelines.
• Experience in menu planning, recipe creation, and product R&D.
• Experience with nutrition assessments, labeling, and documentation.
• Background in quality control, product evaluation, and continuous improvement.
• Experience in shelf-life testing and documentation for packaged/prepared foods.
• Strong communication with culinary, operations, and QA teams.
• Ability to prepare nutrition reports and compliance records.
• Support for new product ideas and healthier menu options.

About The Role

The Head of Nutrition manages the overall nutrition direction across all food concepts, ensuring that menus, products, and ready‑to‑go meals meet consistent standards of health, quality, and regulatory compliance. The role will also be instrumental in menu planning, product development, nutrition assessment, labeling, and documentation, while ensuring quality assurance, food safety practices, and shelf‑life management.By integrating sound nutritional principles into daily operations, this position supports the development of safe, reliable, and innovative food offerings across cafés, restaurants, and packaged meal lines.

About You

The ideal candidate would have the following:

• Degree in Nutrition, Dietetics, Food Science, or a related field; advanced certification preferred
• 8 + year of experience in a similar capacity preferably have worked in the Food Service Industry
• Strong knowledge of nutritional standards, dietary guidelines, and nutrient analysis
• Experience contributing to menu planning, recipe creation, and R&D for food concepts
• Proven ability to conduct nutrition assessments, manage labeling, and maintain documentation
• Background in quality control systems, product evaluation, and continuous improvement processes
• Experience in shelf‑life testing, monitoring, and documentation for packaged or prepared foods.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work closely with culinary, operations, and QA teams
• Competence in preparing clear reports, nutrition files, and compliance records
• Ability to support new product ideas, healthier alternatives, and continuous menu improvement
