The ideal candidate has 5–8 years of relevant experience, a valid Kuwaiti driving license, and residency visa 18. The job requires independent work and ability to handle emergencies in a fast-paced setting.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of diesel engines and alternators.
• Ability to read electrical and mechanical drawings.
• Experience with generator brands (Perkins, Cummins, Caterpillar, FG Wilson, Atlas Copco, Volvo Penta, MTU).
• Familiarity with engine control modules (ECM) and diagnostic tools.
• Strong troubleshooting and fault-finding skills; work independently or in a team.
• Must be able to respond to emergencies and maintain safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on diesel generators (30 KVA to 2000 KVA).
• Inspect, service, maintain, and repair diesel-powered equipment and vehicles.
• Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and control faults and repair.
• Conduct routine inspections, servicing, lubrication, and filter replacement.
• Repair and overhaul diesel engines, alternators, radiators, and fuel/cooling systems.
• Troubleshoot starting, charging, governor, and voltage regulation issues.
• Test generator performance under load and ensure stable voltage/frequency.
• Install, commission, and decommission generator sets and ATS systems.
• Maintain battery systems, control panels, and spare parts inventory.
• Respond to emergency breakdowns and minimize downtime.
• Coordinate with operations to schedule maintenance; keep workshop tidy.

We are looking for experienced Generator / Diesel Mechanics with the following qualifications and responsibilities:

Key Responsibilities

• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on diesel generators of various capacities (e.g., 30 KVA to 2000 KVA).
• Perform inspection, servicing, maintenance, and repair of diesel-powered equipment and vehicles.
• Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and control system faults.
• Conduct routine inspections, servicing, lubrication, and filter replacement.
• Repair and overhaul diesel engines, alternators, radiators, fuel systems, and cooling systems.
• Troubleshoot starting, charging, governor, and voltage regulation issues.
• Test generator performance under load and ensure stable voltage and frequency.
• Install, commission, and decommission generator sets.
• Maintain battery systems, chargers, control panels, and Automatic Transfer Switch (ATS) systems.
• Replace defective components including injectors, fuel pumps, turbochargers, belts, hoses, and sensors.
• Maintain accurate maintenance records, service reports, and spare parts inventory.
• Respond to emergency generator breakdowns and minimize equipment downtime.
• Ensure compliance with manufacturer specifications and safety procedures.
• Coordinate with operations teams to schedule maintenance activities.
• Maintain housekeeping standards in the workshop and at project sites.

Skills Required

• Knowledge of diesel engines and alternators.

• Minimum 5-8 Years Experience and available valid Kuwaiti Driving License will be preferred.
• Candidate should be inside Kuwait and must have valid residency Visa 18 with Local transfer.
