Job summary

Fluor Corporation is seeking a supervisor to oversee fuel distribution operations and logistical planning across assigned units in Kuwait. The role includes maintaining fuel levels, conducting inspections, and ensuring compliance with HSE standards.

The position requires a high school diploma or equivalent, 5–8 years of related experience, and US citizenship with a Secret Security Clearance. Prior military or contingency experience is preferred, and work authorization in Kuwait is required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma / GED equivalent, or an equivalent combination of education and experience, and five (5) to eight (8) years related experience.
• Requires computer skills and proficiency using email, Microsoft Office or specialized applications as necessary to perform assigned job functions.
• Ability to read, write, speak and understand the English language at the intermediate level as necessary to perform assigned job functions.
• Must be a U.S. Citizen.
• Must have a Secret Security Clearance.
• Position requires basic skills and physical ability necessary to perform assigned job functions.
• Prior military and/or contingency experience.
• Must be authorized to work in the country where the position is located.

Responsibilities

• Supervises Fuel Distribution operations within assigned units.
• Supervises assigned sections of the logistical planning and management functions of aviation diesel and mogas fuel missions.
• Develops maintenance plans for fuel equipment at assigned locations.
• Ensures that usage calculations, service times, and fuel levels are maintained as required.
• Completes and verifies forms and submits daily situation reports.
• Completes inspections, sampling, and analysis in accordance with all applicable policies and procedures.
• Maintains fuel documents and archives files for future reference and internal and client audits.
• May operate and maintain retail fuel systems as assigned.
• Maintains a training program for fuels personnel.
• Responsible for evaluating employee and subcontractor performance and recommends corrective measures.
• Collects, reviews, and submits time sheets and work week schedules.
• Conducts daily safety briefings and ensures HSE standards are observed.
• Confirms all systems are inspected daily and properly maintained, as required.
• Other duties as assigned.
