The successful candidate will be responsible for installing, maintaining, repairing, and modifying mechanical equipment used in the production process. They will also be responsible for ensuring that all equipment is working properly and efficiently at all times. They will need to identify any potential problems with the equipment and take appropriate action to fix them. In addition, they will need to make sure that all safety regulations are followed when installing or maintaining any equipment. The ideal candidate should have strong knowledge of mechanical systems including but not limited to pumps, motors, valves, and other related components.
