Overview

Fitter job in Al-Kuwait Kuwait. Al-Kuwait is in search of a skilled Fitter to join our team. We are willing to consider a foreigner for this role. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing mechanical repairs, installing and maintaining equipment and machinery, and ensuring the safe and efficient operation of production facilities.

Responsibilities

• Perform mechanical repairs on equipment and machinery.
• Install and maintain equipment and machinery to ensure continuous production operations.
• Ensure the safe and efficient operation of production facilities.
• Read and interpret engineering drawings and schematics.

Qualifications

• At least 3 years of relevant experience as a fitter in an industrial setting.
• Familiar with electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
• Good understanding of engineering drawings and engineering schematics.
• Knowledge in welding, fabrication and machine shop operations is an asset.
• Ability to read and interpret technical schematics with ease.
• Strong problem-solving skills; able to identify potential defects or issues in a timely manner.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and to work safely in hazardous conditions (e.g., confined spaces or heights).
• Strong communication skills to maintain positive relationships within the team and with other departments when necessary.
