Job summary

Numerica Financial Advisory in Kuwait City is seeking an Associate I in Financial Advisory. This full-time role supports day-to-day accounting activities and exposure to advisory work alongside close processes.

You will maintain books for clients, prepare financial statements, reconcile ledgers, and assist with feasibility studies and models. Strong Excel and knowledge of Xero/Odoo are required; CMA/CPA/ACCA a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance or a related field.
• 2–5 years of experience in accounting, bookkeeping or advisory.
• Working knowledge of Xero and Odoo.
• Strong Excel — lookups, pivot tables, clean workbook structure.
• CMA, CPA, FMVA or ACCA a plus, completed or in progress.

Responsibilities

• Maintain day-to-day bookkeeping for assigned clients — accounts payable, accounts receivable, and bank and credit card reconciliations
• Assist with month-end and year-end close
• Post journal entries and maintain supporting schedules and audit-ready documentation
• Prepare monthly and quarterly balance sheets, income statements and cash flow statements
• Maintain fixed asset registers and reconcile subledgers to the general ledger
• Work in Xero and Odoo, keeping client records clean and current
• Support feasibility studies and financial models on an as-needed basis
• Respond to client queries with guidance
