Job summary

Nabors is seeking a Toolpusher I to aid in safe, efficient drilling operations on our Kuwait site. You will supervise and coordinate the drilling crew, monitor rig equipment, and ensure compliance with company procedures and HSE standards.

The role requires leadership, bilingual communication, and strong safety awareness. Responsibilities include maintaining logs, supporting safety drills, and preparing reports.

Qualifications

• 3+ years’ experience as a Driller and Toolpusher in Kuwait on a 3000 HP rig
• Bi-lingual in English and Arabic preferred
• Strong leadership and team development skills
• Effective verbal communication in a cross-cultural environment

Responsibilities

• Assist in supervising drilling operations and ensure safe, efficient drilling per procedures and HSE policies
• Monitor rig-ups and equipment condition; oversee timely repairs
• Make safety-driven decisions on drilling progress; supervise crew performance
• Maintain drilling journals, logs and reports; support IADC and safety reporting
• Coordinate and implement job safety analyses and risk assessments
• Assist in well control drills and emergency response coordination
• Keep rig manager informed; ensure crew training and certification readiness
• Prepare hand-over notes and review work permits
