Job summary

EY Kuwait offers an Audit Work Experience Internship within Assurance. You will join a team to assist external audit engagements, learn EY’s methodologies, and gain exposure to data analytics and AI-enabled tools.

We seek nationals with Accounting degrees completed within the last 18 months, a basic understanding of auditing and financial reporting, and strong documentation and teamwork skills. This internship provides structured development and client exposure.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting completed within the past 18 months.
• Basic understanding of Auditing, Accounting, and Financial Reporting Standards.
• Ability to document, evaluate, and provide insights on financial accounting processes (financial statement close, planning, budgeting).
• To comply with the role requirements, only Nationals will be considered

Responsibilities

• Support the execution of external audit engagements by reviewing financial statements for fairness and compliance.
• Perform audit procedures, test transactions, analyze supporting documents, and evaluate internal controls.
• Collaborate with diverse audit teams to deliver high-quality services across industries.
• Apply EY’s Global Audit Methodology and leverage data analytics and AI-enabled tools to enhance audit quality.
• Contribute to deliverables and continue building technical knowledge and judgment.

• Collaborate with multi-diverse audit teams to deliver high-quality audit services across a range of industries, while building strong client relationships.
• Apply EY’s Global Audit Methodology and leverage advanced audit technologies, data analytics, and AI-enabled tools to enhance audit quality, consistency, and efficiency.
• Contribute to audit deliverables, share findings with the engagement team, and continue building your technical knowledge, professional judgment, and understanding of business and regulatory requirements.
