Qualifications

• Proven experience operating excavators in a professional setting.
• Valid driver’s license with experience driving heavy equipment.
• Ability to read plans and blueprints accurately.
• Knowledge of safety protocols and building codes required by law.

Responsibilities

• Ensure safety protocols are followed at all times.
• Operate excavators in accordance with job specifications.
• Load, move and unload materials as needed.
• Follow instructions given by project supervisors and/or foremen.
• Inspect excavator for defects on a daily basis.
• Maintain equipment records and update them regularly.
