Job summary

JobLeader in Kuwait City is seeking an experienced Carpenter to join our team in Al-Kuwait. You will fabricate furniture, fixtures and wooden items, read blueprints, and choose materials according to specifications.

You will cut, shape and assemble parts, install hardware, and ensure accuracy and safety. English is essential, a valid driver’s license is preferable, and we are open to considering an immigrant for the position.

Qualifications

• Minimum experience in carpentry required.
• Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings.
• Fluent English or at least basic English required.

Responsibilities

• Fabricating and constructing furniture, fixtures and other wooden items such as cabinets, tables, shelves, doors and windows.
• Reading blueprints or drawings to determine the scope of work and selecting appropriate materials.
• Measuring and marking dimensions on wood stock or lumber, cutting and shaping materials using hand tools or power tools such as saws and routers.
• Assembling the pieces into the desired shape using glue, nails or screws and installing hardware such as locks, handles and hinges.
