Job Duties:

The Excavator Operator will be responsible for operating heavy equipment in an efficient manner while following all safety regulations. Duties include excavating soil, breaking rocks, loading materials onto trucks and other vehicles, clearing debris from sites, and transporting materials to the designated area. The person must also ensure that the work is completed efficiently within the required time frame and with minimal disruption to the environment. Additionally, they must be able to communicate effectively with the team members as well as supervisors regarding any issues or delays that may arise during work hours.

Qualifications & Education:

Applicants should have a minimum of 2 years experience operating an excavator or similar heavy machinery. A valid driver’s license is also essential for this position, as well as being physically capable of lifting and carrying heavy objects. Familiarity with safety regulations is required to ensure a safe working environment for yourself and your colleagues at all times.
