The successful candidate will be responsible for operating an excavator to perform a variety of duties such as digging trenches, foundations, and other areas requiring excavation. They will also be in charge of ensuring the safety of the work environment by adhering to all safety regulations and procedures. The ideal candidate should have strong physical stamina and the ability to work in challenging environments and conditions. They should also have good hand-eye coordination and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think on their feet. Previous experience operating excavators is considered an advantage but not essential; however, a valid driver's license is essential.
