Job summary

Archirodon in Kuwait is seeking an Environmental Engineer to support environmental compliance across EPC project sites. You will perform inspections, audits, and incident reporting while developing relevant environmental plans and procedures.

Ideal candidates hold a 4-year engineering degree, ISO 14001 certification, and at least five years of field experience in core industries. Fluency in English is required to communicate with teams and clients.

Qualifications

• Four-year BSc in engineering (Chemical or Environmental preferred).
• ISO 14001 Internal or Lead Auditor certification preferred.
• Minimum five years' experience in environmental field in core industries (refineries, petrochemicals, etc.).
• English language proficiency required.

Responsibilities

• Conduct environmental inspections and audits on site facilities and report findings.
• Maintain records to meet environmental requirements.
• Provide troubleshooting and guidance on environmental issues at projects.
• Report incidents to clients within required timeframes and suggest corrective actions.
• Organize response drills and develop environmental training/presentations.
• Assist Environmental/HSE Manager in daily operations.
• Develop environmental project documents, plans and procedures.

We are constantly growing and are currently looking for Environmental Engineerto join our top qualified and knowledgeable team in one of our projects in Kuwait.

What you will need to do:

• Conducts environmental Inspections and Audits on site facilities; maintains a project audit schedule and reports.
• Maintains records as required by the environmental requirements.
• Troubleshooting, advice and assistance related to project environmental issues.
• Reports any environmental incidents to the client within the required timeframes, recommend measures to avoid re-occurrence and maintain environmental incidents records.
• Organizes, participates and evaluates response drills regarding environmental emergencies and recommend improvements.
• Increases the environmental awareness by developing relevant presentations to site employees.
• Participates in the development of environmental related project documents, plans and procedures.
• Assists the Environmental Manager and/or HSE Manager in their daily operations.
• Performs any other related duties as assigned.

What you will need to have:

• Four-year full-time Degree in Bachelor of Science in engineering, preferably Chemical Engineering or Environmental Engineering
• ISO 14001 Internal or Lead Auditor (preferable)
• Other HSE Trainings / Certifications will be added advantage.
• Minimum of five years of experience in the field of environmental in core industries like refineries, petrochemicals, fertilizers, steel plants and heavy chemicals, etc. – Marine experience is required)
• Fluency in the English language.
