Job summary

Work standard in Sabah is seeking an experienced Fitter to join our team. In this role, you will provide maintenance and repair services to our equipment and facilities, work independently or with a team, and help keep gear in good working order.

Candidates should have a high school diploma or equivalent; two years experience preferred but not required. Proficiency with industrial tools and the ability to read diagrams is helpful; safety awareness and good communication are essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Two years of experience preferred but not required.
• Working knowledge of industrial tools and machinery is required; electrical knowledge is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Install new equipment, make modifications or repairs on existing equipment/facilities according to operational needs.
• Maintain accurate records of service logs, invoices and other documentation related to maintenance activities.
• Inspect and troubleshoot mechanical components for faults or signs of wear and tear.
• Perform safety inspections of tools and equipment prior to use.
• Follow established safety protocols when working with hazardous materials or in potentially dangerous areas.
• Follow all company policies and procedures related to maintenance activities.
• Other duties as assigned by management or supervisor.
