Job summary

The Engineer - Specialist will operate UAVs, conduct field inspections of powerline assets, and contribute to data analysis and reporting practices. Opportunities span sensor operations, GIS, and cross-disciplinary innovation projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• 0-2 years for junior or 3-5 years for mid-level in field engineering, O&M, inspection, or infrastructure roles in power sector.
• Clear and concise written and oral communication in English; ability to interpret engineering standards.

Responsibilities

• Participate in UAV-enabled inspections of electrical transmission and substation assets.
• Serve as Visual Observer (VO) for drone operations and maintain visual line of sight.
• Assist with sensor calibration, payload configuration, and real-time data collection in the field.
• Analyze inspection data and produce structured technical reports aligned with QA/QC procedures.
• Support refinement of inspection protocols and tools and assist in software development for inspection management.
