Qualifications

• National EMT-Basic certification required.
• CPR/BLS and First Aid certifications must be current.
• Minimum 2 years in emergency health care setting.
• Experience on an emergency response ambulance is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Respond to fire/medical emergency calls and provide initial patient care.
• Educate staff and public on fire safety prevention and EMS procedures.
• Assess patients, obtain medical history, and provide on-scene and transport care.
• Use EMS equipment to assess injuries and patient status.
• Communicate patient condition and arrival times to EMS team and Medical Officer.
• Operate within standard EMS practices and adapt to shift work.
