Job summary

Jumeirah Messilah Beach Hotel & Spa in Kuwait invites a skilled AV Technician to join the Engineering team. You will inspect, maintain and repair audio-visual systems across the resort, ensuring peak performance and compliance with safety standards.

The role requires at least 2 years in hospitality AV, knowledge of Fire, Life & Safety systems, and ability to work with work orders and preventive maintenance.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of experience as an AV Technician in a hospitality setting.
• Expertise in AV equipment maintenance, repairs, troubleshooting, and computer-based preventive maintenance.
• Knowledge of Fire, Life & Safety systems, work order systems, and trades like Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing or HVAC.
• Engineering certificate with at least 1 year of formal training (certified).
• Strong English communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, maintain, and repair audio-video equipment to ensure optimal performance and compliance.
• Conduct regular preventative maintenance to prevent disruptions and uphold safety and quality standards.
• Collaborate with the Engineering team on Work Orders, Preventive Maintenance, Corrective Work Actions, and general tasks.
• Ensure compliance with Fire, Life, and Safety (FLS) systems while maintaining accurate records.
• Manage inventory levels of AV items to maintain required stock levels.
• Maintain a safe, tidy work environment and adhere to all Engineering Department policies and procedures.
