Job summary

Palm & Berdawny Restaurant in Kuwait City, Kuwait, is hiring a technically sharp Electrical Engineer with proven cost estimation experience to join our projects team. This full-time, on-site position covers the complete estimating cycle for our lighting, low-voltage, smart systems, and facade projects.

You will own BOQ takeoffs, prepare detailed cost estimates, analyze tender documents, source pricing, and coordinate with sales and project teams.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering.
3–5 years of cost estimation experience in Kuwait or GCC.
Hands-on experience with MEP/ELV or low-voltage systems is advantageous.
Proficient in AutoCAD for quantity takeoffs and Excel.
Proficient in English and Arabic.

Responsibilities

Prepare detailed BOQs and cost estimates for electrical, lighting, and low-voltage systems projects
Analyze tender documents, drawings, and specifications to produce accurate bids
Source pricing from suppliers and subcontractors; validate against project scope
Coordinate with sales and project teams to align estimates with client requirements
Track awarded project budgets and flag cost variances during execution
Support government and private tender submissions
Maintain a live database of material and labor unit rates
