Job summary

Q-Storage in Kuwait is seeking an Electrical Engineer to design, develop and maintain electrical power distribution systems in Al-Kuwait. You will collaborate with engineers and technicians to ensure reliable operation of substations, switchgear, transformers, and protection schemes.

The ideal candidate has a Bachelor's in Electrical Engineering with at least 3 years of experience, strong AutoCAD skills, knowledge of NEC/IEC standards, and the ability to work independently or in a team while

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering.
Minimum of 3 years of experience in designing and maintaining power distribution systems.
Proficiency in AutoCAD or similar design software.
Knowledge of NEC/IEC codes and standards.
Experience working with MV/LV systems and ensuring safe operation.

Responsibilities

Design and develop electrical systems for power distribution including substation design, switchgear sizing, transformer sizing and protection system design.
Conduct feasibility studies and cost analysis for new power distribution projects.
Prepare technical specifications and drawings for construction projects.
Oversee the installation, testing and commissioning of new electrical systems.
Troubleshoot and resolve issues with existing power distribution systems.
Conduct regular maintenance and inspections to ensure proper functioning of equipment.
Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and standards.
Collaborate with other engineers to improve system efficiency and reliability.
Keep up-to-date with advancements in technology related to power distribution.
