Job summary

Avanta Works is hiring a temporary dishwasher in Hawalli, Kuwait. The role focuses on maintaining cleanliness of all dishes, utensils and kitchen equipment, with training provided to individuals with little or no experience.

The candidate should be able to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends. Ideal candidates will communicate in English, be physically able to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 pounds, and be willing to join a busy restaurant team in Hawalli.

Responsibilities

• Wash dishes, glassware, flatware and other kitchen items by hand or using dishwashing equipment
• Sort and stack clean dishes properly
• Clean and maintain kitchen equipment such as ovens, stoves, and grills
• Maintain cleanliness of kitchen surfaces including floors, walls, and countertops
• Dispose of garbage and recycling according to restaurant guidelines
• Assist with food preparation when needed

As a dishwasher, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and sanitation of all dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment.
