Job summary

Qualifications

Job description

We are seeking a qualified and experienced Specialist Dermatologist to join our medical team. The successful candidate will be responsible for diagnosing, treating, and managing a wide range of skin, hair, and nail conditions while providing high-quality patient care in accordance with applicable medical standards and regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Diagnose and treat various dermatological conditions affecting the skin, hair, and nails.
• Conduct patient consultations, examinations, and follow-up assessments.
• Develop appropriate treatment plans based on patients' medical conditions and needs.
• Prescribe medications and recommend suitable medical treatments.
• Perform dermatological procedures within the scope of the specialist's qualifications and licensing.
• Provide patients with professional advice regarding skin health, treatment options, and preventive care.
• Maintain accurate and complete patient medical records.
• Collaborate with other physicians and healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.
• Follow established clinical protocols, medical ethics, quality standards, and patient safety requirements.
• Participate in continuous professional development and remain updated on developments and best practices in dermatology.

Qualifications

• PhD / Clinical Doctorate, recognized Board, Fellowship, MD/DNB in Dermatology, or an equivalent higher specialty qualification acceptable to the Kuwait Ministry of Health (MOH).
• Valid professional license or eligibility for licensing as a Specialist Dermatologist in Kuwait is preferred.

Experience

• Minimum 8 years of total relevant experience in Dermatology.
• At least 3 years of relevant experience after obtaining the higher specialty qualification.
