A prominent financial institution located in Kuwait City is seeking to hire a professional to provide critical support to managers in assessing the financial conditions of borrowers. Responsibilities

  • Provide quality support to managers in assessing financial conditions of borrowers.
  • Conduct comprehensive financial analysis including SWOT analysis.
  • Analyze credit and financial information of commercial banking customers.
  • Ensure accuracy in financial statement spreads for informed credit decisions.
  • Participate in client calls with managers and prepare call reports.
  • Stay updated with business developments through daily and periodical press.
  • Organize account review dates with relationship officers.
  • Maintain efficient computerized documentation.
  • Understand and comply with bank credit policies and amendments.
  • Adhere to compliance and operational risk controls.
  • Participate in training sessions to enhance skills.
Job description
Job Purpose

To provide efficient and quality support to managers in determining the financial conditions of existing/ prospect borrowers.

Job Responsibilities
  • Spreading financial statements and prepare comprehensive financial analysis including & not limited to SWOT financial analysis identifying strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and threats.
  • Analyze credit and financial information of current and potential Commercial Banking business customers ranging from simple to very complex in nature.
  • Quality check financial statement spreads for accuracy to enable informed credit decisions to be made.
  • Join the manager on selective basis in calling on clients and prepare call report.
  • Read daily and periodical business related press to be in constant update with latest business development.
  • Organize accounts review dates in co-ordination with relationship officers and setting up priorities for existing and setting up priorities deals.
  • Maintain computerized versions in an efficient and retrievable manner.
  • To be familiar with the bank credit policy and to be aware of amendments to this policy.
  • Adhere strictly to compliance and operational risk controls in accordance with the bank and regulatory standards, policies and practices; report control weaknesses, compliance breaches and operational loss events.
  • Attends and participates in both in-house and outside training sessions to maintain awareness of overall bank products and/or technologies to increase the skills level.
  • Research and assist with the preparation of credit application.
