Job summary

Enshaat Al Sayer seeks an experienced Contracts and Claims Manager to oversee the full contract lifecycle, including claims administration, for projects in construction, infrastructure, oil & gas, and government sectors.

The role demands expert knowledge of contract forms (FIDIC), robust negotiation skills, and the ability to coordinate with diverse teams. Kuwait-based candidates with transferrable visas are preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in civil, mechanical, electrical engineering or related field.
• Minimum 15 years in contract management, claims administration, and commercial management in construction, infra, oil & gas, or government projects.
• Proficient in contract lifecycle management, claims prep/evaluation, contractual correspondence, commercial negotiations, dispute resolution.
• Strong knowledge of construction contracts, variations, EOT, and claims procedures.
• Fluent in Arabic and English with strong written and verbal communication.
• Available in Kuwait with transferrable visa.
• Experience with FIDIC and international contract forms.

Responsibilities

Duties include contract review and management, claims preparation and evaluation, commercial negotiations, contractual correspondence, risk identification, and coordination with project teams, clients, and stakeholders. The role requires strong knowledge of contract administration, claims management, commercial practices, excellent negotiation and communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple projects within the construction, infrastructure, oil & gas, and government sectors.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil, Mechanical, Electrical Engineering or any related discipline
• Minimum of 15 years of relevant experience in contract management, claims administration, and commercial management within the construction, infrastructure, oil & gas, or government projects.
• Proficient in contract lifecycle management, claims preparation and evaluation, contractual correspondence, commercial negotiations, dispute resolution, and administration of FIDIC and other international contract forms.
• Strong knowledge of construction contracts, project delivery processes, contractual obligations, variations, extensions of time (EOT), and claims procedures.
• Fluent in Arabic and English, with strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Demonstrates strong negotiation, analytical, leadership, and stakeholder management skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage complex contractual matters across multiple projects.
• Must be available in Kuwait with valid transferrable visa
