About The Role
A leading Oil & Gas company is seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Contracts Administrator to manage both pre-award and post-award contract activities across critical projects. The ideal candidate will have strong technical knowledge of contract development, negotiation, administration, and claims management within the Oil & Gas industry.
Key Responsibilities
Pre-Award Responsibilities
- Bid preparation and issuing tender documents
- Processing queries from bidders and ensuring timely clarification
- Preparation of bid evaluation programmes
- Evaluation of bids, commercial assessments, and compliance checks
- Conducting and supporting negotiations with bidders
- Award and contract preparation, ensuring adherence to company policies
Post-Award Responsibilities
- Conducting kick-off meetings with contractors
- Day-to-day contracts administration and correspondence
- Preparation and processing of adjustment orders, amendments & variations
- Managing claims, dispute resolution support, and documentation
- Overseeing contract close-out procedures
- Ensuring all contractual obligations are met by contractors and stakeholders
Strategic & Functional Responsibilities
- Develop and implement contract strategies in line with project and company objectives
- Comprehensive experience in Contract Development, Post-Award Administration, and Claims Function
- Ensure compliance with internal controls, legal standards, and Oil & Gas industry norms
Candidate Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Law, or a related field
- Minimum 5–10 years of experience in Contracts Administration in Oil & Gas / EPC projects
- Proven experience in pre-award and post-award contract management
- Bid evaluation, negotiation, and award
- Managing claims, variations, and contract close-outDeveloping contract strategies and frameworks
- Strong knowledge of contract standards (EPC, service contracts, international contracting practices)
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and analytical skills
- Proficiency in MS Office, ERP systems (SAP/Oracle), and Contract management tools
