Job summary

Woopel in Kuwait seeks an Electrician (Malayalee/Egyptian) on a contract basis in Al Ahmadi. You will install, repair, and maintain electrical systems in commercial and residential buildings, with accommodation provided.

The ideal candidate has at least 3 years of experience, can read blueprints, and prefers a certified license. Local codes and safety standards must be followed; overtime may be available.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent level of education.
• Minimum 3 years of experience as an Electrician in commercial or residential settings.
• Certified Electrician license preferred.
• Proficient in reading blueprints and technical diagrams.
• Strong knowledge of local electrical codes and safety standards.
• Ability to use various testing equipment to diagnose issues accurately.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Install wiring, lighting fixtures, and other electrical components according to local codes and safety standards.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical issues using testing equipment.
• Repair or replace faulty wiring, switches, outlets, and other electrical components.
• Ensure all work is completed in a timely manner and meets quality standards.
• Conduct routine maintenance on electrical systems to prevent breakdowns or malfunctions.
• Keep detailed records of work performed and materials used.
• Follow all safety protocols and regulations while working on job sites.
