Job summary

Hanmi Global in Kuwait is seeking an experienced Lab Technician to support project quality control by conducting material testing, preparing samples, and maintaining laboratory equipment. The ideal candidate will have a diploma or degree in Laboratory Technology, experience in construction or materials testing, and familiarity with ASTM and BS standards.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Lab Technician in construction or materials testing.
• Strong understanding of ASTM, BS, and Kuwait-specific testing standards.
• Physically able to handle field sampling when required.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine and specialized laboratory tests on construction materials.
• Prepare, label, and document samples in accordance with project requirements.
• Maintain calibration, cleanliness, and safe operation of lab equipment.
• Record, analyze, and report test results to the QA/QC team.
• Coordinate with engineers and contractors for test approvals.
