Position Overview

The Commercial Director for Hilton Kuwait Resorts will lead the commercial strategy to maximize total revenue and market share across all resort segments, including Rooms, F&B, GC&E, Leisure, Spa, and ancillary services. This role drives profitability, supports brand positioning, enhances customer focus, and ensures commercial excellence across all channels. The position is also an integral partner in pre‑opening, refurbishment projects, and long‑term commercial planning.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute a data‑driven commercial strategy that delivers budgeted revenue targets across all streams.
  • Optimize channel mix, pricing strategies, upselling, and route‑to‑market plans to ensure maximum profitability.
  • Lead weekly business reviews and long‑term strategy meetings (current year + 5‑year outlook).
  • Support Revenue Management & RMCC teams in forecasting, demand analysis, and pricing approvals.
  • Lead, coach, recruit, and retain a high‑performance commercial team across Sales, Marketing, PR, Revenue, and eCommerce.
  • Drive a 4D leadership structure on property, ensuring collaboration across all disciplines.
  • Promote Hilton culture, brand values, and performance‑driven KPIs.
  • Act as a key business partner to the General Manager and primary contact for owners and stakeholders.
  • Present commercial plans and results to VP Operations, regional teams, and investors.
  • Build strong relationships across Hilton’s matrix teams and leverage support functions.
  • Drive top‑line revenue while maintaining cost control and maximizing TGOP/EBITDA performance.
  • Negotiate vendor contracts, manage budgets, and track ROI on key campaigns.
  • Ensure all systems and tools (Hilton Commercial Focus, OnQ, FMS, Delphi, etc.) are utilized to full potential.
  • Lead integrated resort marketing and public relations strategies with area and brand support teams.
  • Ensure brand compliance across visual identity, digital presence, partnerships, and guest experience touchpoints.
  • Monitor competitor activity and market trends to adapt strategy.
  • Oversee commercial readiness, budgeting, and positioning strategy for pre‑opening phases.
  • Coordinate with operations, HR, and training teams to ensure launch readiness.
  • Build pre‑opening sales plans, events strategy, and stakeholder communication updates.
  • Maintain resilience in fast‑paced phases while keeping guest focus as top priority.
Qualifications
  • Relevant and proven experience in a commercial, sales, or revenue leadership role in hospitality/travel.
  • Experience in budget management and strategic decision‑making.
  • Strong presentation and stakeholder management skills.
  • Experience leading cross‑functional teams in a matrixed environment.
  • Fluent in English; local market knowledge or Arabic language is an advantage.
  • Experience in a multi‑complex or resort environment.
  • Knowledge of Marketing, Finance, eCommerce, and Brand Strategy.
