Responsibilities
  • Analyze samples of chemicals using lab equipment such as spectrophotometers, gas chromatographs, and other instruments
  • Prepare samples for analysis by weighing them accurately and measuring their volumes
  • Perform experiments according to established protocols to test the reactivity of a chemical compound or substance
  • Document and report results of experiments using appropriate software tools
  • Monitor safety protocols in the laboratory at all times
  • Assist in developing new products based on laboratory findings
  • Maintain accurate records of all experiments conducted in the laboratory
Qualifications & Skills
  • Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry or related field required; Master’s degree preferred
