Job summary

Overview

Chemical Engineer – Al-Kuwait
We are looking for a Chemical Engineer to join our team in Al-Kuwait. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing, designing and testing chemical processes, manufacturing processes and production plants.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop chemical processes, systems and equipment to meet safety, cost, environmental and other requirements.
• Assess the feasibility of alternative solutions and recommend the best solution to improve operational performance.
• Analyze data from experiments to optimize process efficiency.
• Monitor process parameters throughout production process.
• Maintain process control systems to ensure safety of staff and the environment.
• Develop new products or technologies through research & development activities.
• Prepare technical reports on product development or research activities.
• Liaise with vendors or suppliers regarding materials, supplies or services needed for production processes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering or related field with at least 3 years’ relevant experience in chemical engineering, process engineering, manufacturing engineering, process design & development, production control systems implementation, research & development activities, or technical support roles in an industrial environment.
• Knowledge of relevant software packages such as HYSYS is preferred but not essential.
• Salary: 900 KWD per month, depending on qualifications and experience.
