Job summary
Client of Angel Gulf Jobs in Kuwait City is seeking an experienced Auto Mechanic to diagnose, service, and repair petrol and diesel vehicles, including engines, transmissions, brakes, and suspensions.
You will read service manuals, operate OBD scanners, maintain workshop safety, and produce accurate service records.
The role requires hands-on skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently or in a team.
Qualifications
- 3+ years of relevant experience as an Auto Mechanic.
- ITI/Diploma/Automotive Trade Certificate or equivalent preferred.
- Relevant mechanic certification is an advantage.
Responsibilities
- Diagnose, repair and maintain cars, vans and light commercial vehicles.
- Perform servicing and repairs on engines, transmissions, brakes, suspension, steering and cooling systems.
- Identify mechanical and electrical faults using diagnostic equipment.
- Carry out oil changes, filter replacement, brake servicing and battery checks.
- Inspect vehicles and identify worn or damaged components.
- Repair or replace defective mechanical and electrical parts.
- Perform vehicle testing after repairs to ensure proper operation.
- Maintain service records and follow workshop safety procedures.
