Job summary

Al-Kuwait Kuwait is seeking a skilled Carpenter to join our team. The successful candidate must have extensive experience and knowledge in carpentry, as well as excellent communication and organizational skills.

Responsibilities include reading blueprints, measuring and marking lines, cutting, shaping and assembling materials, installing windows and doors, finishing surfaces, and maintaining safety on site.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; carpenter certification is a plus.
• At least 3 years of proven carpenter experience.
• Ability to read technical drawings and blueprints.
• Proficient with electrical and manual carpentry tools.
• Strong math and measurement skills.

Al-Kuwait is seeking a skilled Carpenter to join our team. The successful candidate must have extensive experience and knowledge in carpentry, as well as excellent communication and organizational skills.

Responsibilities:

• Read blueprints and drawings to understand or plan the structure of a project
• Measure and mark cutting lines on materials, using a ruler, pencil, chalk, and marking gauge
• Cut, shape and smooth lumber and other material (e.g. fiberglass) according to measurements
• Assemble cut and shaped materials and fasten them together with nails, screws, staples or glue
• Build window frames, doors, staircases and frame buildings by using raw materials or pre-constructed items
• Install structures or fixtures like windows, doors or trim
• Finish surfaces of woodwork by sanding or applying veneer
• Provide advice on the selection of lumber or other materials for projects
• Inspect places and conduct repairs or maintenance work when necessary
• Follow safety rules at all times to avoid accidents

Qualifications:

• High school diploma/GED required; certification in Carpenter is a plus
• Proven experience as a Carpenter for at least 3 years is required
• Excellent understanding of carpentry techniques and methods of installation and construction
• Proficient in using electrical and manual equipment tools (e.g. saws)
• Ability to read technical documents and drawings
• Good mathematical skills

Salary: 1200 per month. We are open to considering foreign applicants for this position.
