As Business Change Consultant you will be responsible for designing, planning, and implementing logistics solutions to support both current operations and new business opportunities. This position directly contributes to organizational objectives by identifying, analyzing, and developing value-adding, robust logistics solutions that enhance operational performance. A core element of the role is driving Continuous Improvement (CI) and SIGMA initiatives within Road Logistics, ensuring alignment with DSV’s strategic goals.

Responsibilities
  • Identify, analyze, and develop value-adding logistics solutions for existing and prospective clients.
  • Support tender responses with Road solution design, operational modelling, and feasibility insights.
  • Ensure proposed solutions are robust, scalable, and aligned with customer and business requirements.
  • Collaborate with Operations and Management to identify Continuous Improvement (CI) opportunities.
  • Develop, document, and implement sustainable cost-saving initiatives across the business.
  • Support operational teams with the design of optimized processes, workflows, and performance improvements.
  • Conduct detailed data analysis (validation, comparison, sense checking) to support decision making.
  • Review and map business processes, ensuring they are complete, accurate, relevant, measurable, and aligned with business objectives.
  • Present clear recommendations that address productivity, cost, and service-level enhancements.
  • Develop business cases for proposed solutions based on investment requirements and risk profiles.
  • Carry out ROI calculations, cost–benefit analysis, and quantify value-add to support leadership decision making.
  • Assess opportunities for productivity improvement, revenue growth, and operational scale.
  • Lead, implement, and track SIGMA and CI initiatives within Road Logistics.
  • Develop and maintain reports highlighting cost savings, benefits delivered, and initiative progress.
  • Foster a culture of Lean thinking and structured problem solving across teams.
Educational Qualifications & Certifications
  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, logistics, or a related field is preferred.
  • Proven experience in logistics, transport, supply chain, or operations improvement roles.
  • Experience in solution design, business analysis, or process engineering.
  • Strong data analysis, modelling, and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Ability to lead cross-functional teams and facilitate workshops.
