Job summary

V2X seeks an Inventory Control & BII Specialist to maintain 100% physical accountability of BII and COEI across APS-5 equipment. You will validate unit configurations, manage TMDE diagnostics, and ensure compliance with Army regulations and SOPs.

Role focuses on BII/COEI accuracy and strategic inventory control. Responsibilities include full lifecycle inventory, discrepancy resolution, and coordination with maintenance and materiel management for LRUs and system corrections.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or equivalent; associate degree preferred where applicable.
• Experience with APS-5 inventory, BII/COEI management, or Army supply.
• Familiarity with SINCGARS/Harris/JCR/BFT systems and TMDE basics.
• Proficiency in AWRDS, GCSS-Army, DPAS, and interpreting TM manuals.
• Willingness to work in extreme conditions; good written records.

Responsibilities

• Perform full, partial, and cyclic inventories of BII, COEI, and AAL components.
• Ensure 100% physical counts and correct vehicle gear layouts per PM/TM.
• Identify discrepancies and document shortages or substitutions.
• Maintain inventory logs in AWRDS, GCSS-Army, DPAS and related systems.
• Prepare shortage annexes, discrepancy worksheets, and reconciliations.
• Label, package, store, and secure BII/COEI per SOPs and TM guidance.
• Support equipment issue, turn-in, and reset with BII/COEI validation.
• Validate tactical systems and perform functional checks on data buses.
• Use TMDE to isolate faults to the LRU level and coordinate fixes.
• Produce daily to monthly status reports and ensure compliance with regs.
