The Assistant Operations Manager is responsible for overseeing the efficient management of day-to-day operations across multiple locations. This includes leading teams, ensuring product availability, optimizing workflows, managing inventory, and maintaining service excellence. The role also involves monitoring key performance metrics, improving cost efficiency, and ensuring compliance with company policies and safety standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee all daily operational activities across assigned locations.
- Develop and implement strategies to improve efficiency and productivity.
- Monitor performance metrics, track operational KPIs, and identify areas for improvement.
- Ensure the availability of necessary resources, materials, and equipment.
- Coordinate with Technical, Production, and Logistics teams to ensure smooth operations.
- Lead, train, and mentor a diverse team of Area Managers, Supervisors, and Operators.
- Evaluate team performance, provide feedback, and implement improvement plans.
- Conduct regular training sessions to enhance employee skills and knowledge.
- Support the recruitment, onboarding, and retention of qualified staff.
- Develop and foster a positive and productive work culture.
- Identify and implement process improvements to optimize costs and resources.
- Collaborate with other departments to enhance workflow and communication.
- Standardize operational processes to maintain consistent service quality.
- Use data-driven decision-making to improve performance and efficiency.
- Ensure high-quality standards across all operational sites.
- Address customer complaints and implement corrective actions.

Education & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, or a related field.
- 7+ years of experience in operations management or a similar leadership role.
- Proven track record in managing teams and optimizing operational performance.
- Strong understanding of inventory control, supply chain logistics, and customer service.
