Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in medicine with specialty in Anesthesiology.
• Board certification in anesthesiology or equivalent.
• Minimum of 5 years' experience providing anesthetic care in a clinical setting.
• Knowledge of current regulations and standards governing anesthetic practices.
• Ability to assess patient condition quickly and accurately.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate patient condition and review medical history to determine anesthetic risk and the type of anesthesia needed.
• Administer anesthetics, monitor patient's vital signs, adjust dosage and administer medications as needed.
• Monitor patient's response to anesthesia during surgery or procedure and adjust the level of anesthesia accordingly.
• Provide postoperative care for patients who have received general or local anesthesia.
• Perform preoperative evaluations and provide guidance related to the use of anesthesia prior to medical procedures.
• Educate patients and their families about the risks, benefits, expected outcomes, and available options related to anesthetic use.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals in order to provide comprehensive patient care.
