Job summary
NACO International, a global aviation consultancy, seeks a Deputy Resident Engineer (Airside) to lead on Package 3 of Kuwait International Airport Terminal 2. This on-site senior role supervises airside civil works, coordinates with MPW, contractor and stakeholders, and drives safety, quality and programme compliance.
You will manage a team of up to 30 engineers within the airside civils and airport systems streams, drawing on 20+ years in civil engineering and substantial airport project
Qualifications
- BSc or MSc in Civil Engineering.
- 20+ years of professional experience with at least 10 years on-site.
- At least 5 years in airport construction projects (airside civils/airport systems).
- Experience as a Resident Engineer or Deputy Resident Engineer is advantageous.
- Knowledge of airside civils (aprons, taxiways) and airside systems (PBB, AGL, AFL, CCTV, ICT).
- International working experience, including the Middle East.
Responsibilities
- Lead the Airside Civils Team and Airport Systems Team on Package 3.
- Coordinate with client, contractor, subcontractors and stakeholders to meet quality, safety and programme standards.
- Manage daily project management, technical input, and site instructions.
- Coordinate interfaces with Buildings, Land- and Airside packages to manage dependencies.
- Ensure complete, auditable project records.
- Support reporting and project reviews with Resident Engineer and management.
