Job summary

American International University (AIU) Kuwait invites applications for a full-time faculty position in Accounting at the rank of Full Professor, Associate Professor, or Assistant Professor. The role requires teaching excellence, a PhD, and engagement with emerging technologies such as AI and interdisciplinary collaboration to advance accreditation and program quality.

Qualifications

• PhD in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance or similar.
• Minimum of five years of university-level teaching experience (for Associate & Full Professor ranks).
• Strong evidence of professional and/or research-based work in Accounting or related field.
• Proficiency in industry-standard software.
• Peer-reviewed publications or recognized professional practice.
• Strong written and oral communication skills in English.
• Experience in multicultural academic environments.

Responsibilities

• Deliver innovative undergraduate courses in Accounting and related sub-disciplines.
• Integrate emerging technologies such as AI-assisted design tools and interactive platforms into the curriculum.
• Develop and update course content to reflect industry standards and accreditation requirements.
• Supervise senior projects and mentor students.
• Maintain rigorous assessment standards.
• Engage in research and publish in peer-reviewed journals.
• Participate in program assessment, accreditation documentation, and quality assurance activities.
• Contribute to student recruitment, outreach initiatives, and community engagement.
• Offer academic advising and mentorship to students.
