Job summary

A finance and accounting firm in Kuwait City is seeking an experienced accounting professional to manage accounts payable and receivable, prepare budgets, and analyze financial statements. The ideal candidate will have strong knowledge of accounting principles, experience with accounting software, and excellent spreadsheet skills.

Responsibilities

• Maintain accounts receivable and document bills.

• Prepare quarterly budget under senior management.
• Analyze financial statements and prepare balance sheet.
• Reconcile bank statements and bookkeeping ledger.
• Complete analysis of employee expenditures.
• Manage income and expenditure accounts.
• Generate financial reports from income and expenditure data.
• Check company's finances based on financial status.
• File and remit taxes and financial obligations.
• Manage financial and accounting software.

Maintaining accounts receivable, document bills and supporting documentation

Maintaining accounts payable, ensure timely payment of invoices, confirming validity of the debt and gathering appropriate signatures

Gathering payroll expenses and input into appropriate entry line

Preparing quarterly budget under the purview of senior management

Analyzing financial statements and prepare balance sheet.

Reconciling the companys bank statements and bookkeeping ledger.

Completing analysis of the employee expenditures.

Managing income and expenditure accounts.

Generating the companys financial reports using income and expenditure data

Keeping a check on the companys finances based on financial status

Filing and remitting taxes and other financial obligations

Initiating and managing financial and accounting software used by the company.

Skills and qualifications:
