Job summary

Workato in Bayan, Kuwait is seeking an experienced Accountant for a contract role. The position involves managing all financial transactions, preparing forecasts, and ensuring regulatory compliance, with a monthly salary of 1700 USD and no housing allowance.

The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor's in Accounting or Finance, at least 3 years of Kuwait experience, strong Excel and QuickBooks skills, and excellent attention to detail.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance is required.
• 3+ years of accounting experience, preferably in Kuwait.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices.

Responsibilities

• Manage all accounting operations including billing, A/R, A/P, GL and prepare accurate and timely financial reports
• Prepare budget forecasts and track expenses against budgets
• Analyze financial data and provide recommendations based on findings
• Ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations
• Liaise with auditors to ensure proper compliance and timely completion of audits
• Participate in budget meetings and provide support during the budgeting process
• Develop and maintain financial policies and procedures
