Role Overview
We’re seeking a strategic, results‑driven Account Director to drive sales and long‑term growth for Siemens Grid Software in Kuwait. You will serve as the central leader of our Account Target Management strategy for selected Strategic Growth Accounts in Kuwait, helping shape the future of energy by accelerating the adoption of our grid software solutions. You will work within a high‑performing team and collaborate closely with key stakeholders across industries such as oil & gas, chemical, mining, airports, railways, and smart cities.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead, coach, and orchestrate cross‑functional account and software development teams, ensuring strong collaboration, alignment, and performance across all stakeholders.
- Motivate and inspire teams by bringing creativity, imagination, energy, and enthusiasm to drive account growth and software adoption.
- Open doors and expand opportunities by identifying, initiating, and developing strategic customer relationships that position Siemens Grid Software for long‑term success.
- Own and drive business outcomes, including revenue generation, account development, and execution of strategies that support both new sales and recurring software growth.
- Communicate effectively and with impact, acting as a strong networker and stakeholder manager who can influence, navigate complexity, and mobilize support across multiple organizations.
- Listen deeply and negotiate skillfully, presenting compelling value propositions that align with customer needs and strategic objectives.

Qualifications & Skills – Digital and Solid
- Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, or equivalent qualification.
- 5–10 years of proven experience in a commercially focused Account Management, Account Director, or Sales Leadership role, ideally with experience coaching or leading a small team in a player/coach capacity.
- Deep expertise in the Kuwait energy industry, enabling strong credibility and strategic discussions with customer stakeholders.
- Proven experience in executive, revenue‑generating roles requiring strong business acumen and commercial decision‑making.
- Demonstrated ability to identify and capitalize on growth opportunities, navigating complex sales cycles and developing account strategies tailored to each customer's unique situation.
- Strong capability to engage and influence a broad network of stakeholders within customer organizations.
- A strong growth mindset with the ability to leverage team strengths, understand client needs deeply, and significantly grow recurring software license business across at least two Lines of Business (LoBs).
- Demonstrated ability to lead, coach, and facilitate communication between internal teams and customer teams to achieve clear growth goals and build internal champions.
- Strong ownership mindset, with a track record of building and executing account plans, sales strategies, and customer engagement programs that drive long‑term success with strategic accounts.
- Strong product knowledge with the ability to deliver high‑impact customer presentations, building trust and credibility up to the C‑suite.
- Ability to gain deep insights into customer strategy and investment priorities, enabling the identification and advancement of innovative, future‑oriented projects.
- Proven skill in account mapping and strategic solution alignment, ensuring solutions directly address client business challenges.
- Demonstrated ability to influence strategic decisions at the executive level through deep industry knowledge, product expertise, and strong relationship‑building with C‑suite stakeholders.
- Ability to integrate industry trends, innovation themes, and digital transformation narratives to support a challenger mindset and shape customer thinking.
