Job summary

Urban Science International Gmbh is seeking a Financial Analyst to support the Regional Finance Manager with monthly processes and analytics. The role collaborates with FP&A to support budgeting, forecasting, and reporting in a hybrid setup at the Detroit, MI office.

Ideal candidates will have a bachelor’s degree in Accounting or MIS and 3–5 years of related experience, strong Excel skills, and proficiency with accounting systems.

Qualifications

Must have a baccalaureate degree with a focus in Accounting or Management Information Systems from an accredited U.S. college or university, or equivalent foreign institution.
Three to five years of related work experience preferred.
Proficient in Excel, including pivot tables.
Experience with accounting systems is beneficial.
Strong written and verbal communication.
Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple duties.

Responsibilities

Assist with month-end close duties, including revenue journal entries and reconciliations.
Prepare and analyze monthly financial statements and variance reports.
Support budgeting and monthly forecasts.
Produce labor and revenue reporting for regional and corporate management.
Ensure compliance with finance policies.
Communicate updates and issues to management and business partners.
Participate in ad-hoc financial analysis and planning projects.
