Qualifications
- Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists: R.T. (R)(CT) OR R.T. (R)(ARRT) is required.
- Advanced Certification in the modality of CT is required in OR and HI.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required.
- Fluoroscopy license in state of employment is preferred.
- Venipuncture certification is preferred.
- ARRT-Radiography (ARRT-R) or ARRT-Computed Tomography (ARRT-CT) are required.
Responsibilities
- Operates computed tomography equipment to produce cross-sectional images.
- Produces sagittal and coronal reformatted images for interpretation.
- Maintains accurate records and adheres to HIPAA regulations.
- Performs routine maintenance and calibration of radiology equipment.
